All you can eat and more. If you want traditional West Indian food have served in the friendliest environment and with excellent company this is the place. My friend and I had the buffet which is some Saturdays and is really excellent value. The we dined in you can also get it as a takeaway box and one portion will last you 3 days. Talk about all you can eat, the owners tried to make you take seconds and even thirds showing a kindness and generosity that is rare. The person I went with is an excellent judge of West Indian food and tells me that the tastes add flavours are genuine and I cannot fault the food, the quality and the quantity. Nothing too fancy, nothing pretentious, just good soul food served with big smiles and a home feeling full. The only danger is overeating. The atmosphere is great with reggae accompanying the food and the other patrons making the whole thing a party of it. Smiles all round. We both agreed that we would happily return.

Fantastic Find – Great Food & Even Better Service! On the way back from a meeting in London, I fancied a jacket potato and did a quick Google search—this place came up with a perfect 5.0 review score, so I decided to give it a try. I’m really glad I did. The food was excellent—fresh, tasty, and exactly what I was looking for. I also had a great chat with the owner, who was friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend if you're in the area. I’ll be going back regularly!

Been to Bossa Nova a few times now and each time I have been I haven't been disappointed. It's so lovely and refreshing to see somewhere sell home made food rather then just brought in pastries. They offer a range of food at affordable prices including vegan and gluten-free options. I've always said that you can tell when food has been prepared with love and care and the food at Bossa Nova has definitely been made with that. The coffee compliments the baked goods perfectly. You can tell that thought went into selecting the right blend that works for them. I would highly recommend a piece of apple crumble cake with a flat white or even a sausage roll. Inside is beautifully decorated and screams good vibes only. The decor as well as the great choice in music, (who doesn't love a bit of jazz) are all perfectly paired. The owners are such friendly people, you can see that Bossa Nova was born out of passion. As someone who has been to a good few coffee shops/ cafe I can definitely say that Bossa Nova is deserving of a 5 star rating.

Such a welcoming cafe, we love that the food is all made in the cafe - my kids love the cakes and the deal Bossanova do after school on a Friday - and they have board games to keep them occupied. We have also ordered banquet style food for my son’s birthday party, which was all fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend the cafe and its catering service

Great Food & Atmosphere at Bossa Nova Café! I tried the Tuna Bowl (tuna mayo, rice, red onions, sweetcorn, black beans, guacamole, and spicy salsa) and the Grilled Chicken Bowl (rice, black beans, sweetcorn, red peppers, guacamole, and sour cream) for lunch. Both were generously portioned, well-balanced, and delicious, with perfectly cooked hot rice. For rice lovers, this place is highly recommended! The prices are reasonable, and both the latte and cappuccino are creamy and flavorful. The café’s blue, jazz and soul theme creates a great ambiance. The restaurant keeper and staff are friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Definitely a spot worth visiting for a satisfying meal and good coffee!

I wanted catering for an event and Trudie was a joy to work with. I was starting to feel stressed with organising a birthday celebration when I came across really positive and genuine sounding reviews of her catering. She was very responsive when messaging and I liked the tone of her communications and social media posts. I decided to meet her in person and I knew immediately that I wanted her to do my catering. Her passion, enthusiasm and experience shone through. She helped guide me towards a balanced menu, made useful suggestions, and listened to understand what I wanted The food was delivered exactly as arranged and on time. Everything was helpfully labelled and attractively presented. And it was all so delicious. There were loads of compliments. And because of the very generous quantities, people were more than happy to go home with leftovers. For the price, I doubt you could do better for quality and convenience. Heartily recommend Trudie of Bossa Nova cafe !
